About Us

Who We Are

 Gwinnett County Young Democrats (GCYD) are the official youth arm of the Gwinnett County Democratic Party, made up of progressive leaders who champion democracy, empower young minds in politics, and build consensus towards policies that help shape a promising future for Gwinnett.

We work to encourage youth involvement in civic duty, educate members on public policy, and support democratic candidates through voting, grassroots organizing, and fundraising.

Our Mission

Our mission is to make a positive difference in the community, uphold the principles of democracy by reaching out to voters, encouraging volunteering, and communicating the shared goals and collective voice of the Gwinnett County Democratic Party. 

Event Overview

Connecting Youth to Power

Our Monthly Business Meetings regularly invite political candidates and sitting public officials. Allowing creation of lasting connections, commradery, and friendship with those that represent you. 

Creating Community

Whether its billiards, roller skating, or arcades, our Monthly Hangouts have paved the way for a community that is united in its values and always open to all to flourish. 

Frequently Asked Questions

Our chapter is the 40 and under branch of the Gwinnett Democrats, and its as simple as attending any one of Gwinnett Young Democrats' events listed in the calendar in the Events and Meetings tab and following our social media for updates!

All of our events are, and will always be Open Invite, however members get voting rights, priority reservations in events, and more! 

An small annual $25 fee will grant you Membership status, done through the link above!
