Anyone can become a member of the Gwinnett Young Democrats. However, according to our official bylaws, only members who are 40 and under are eligible to vote on chapter business and in elections 

 Becoming a member gives you a voice in the organization's decisions and a vote in its elections, allowing you to directly influence our direction and platform. You'll gain priority access to exclusive events, networking opportunities with influential community and political leaders, and the chance to develop your leadership skills. Ultimately, membership is the most direct way to invest in our collective mission of promoting progressive values and building a stronger, more equitable Gwinnett County 

We have sponsored member positions if you are unable to pay dues.

• Free for High School students. 
• $10 for college/technical 
• $25 for those under 40 years of age
• $35 for those above 40

We are a grassroots organization funded primarily by membership dues and individual donations, not by corporations or Super PACs 

Our focus is on Gwinnett, anyone from a neighboring county or with an interest is welcome to attend events and volunteer. 

It's easy to feel let down and powerless when you watch national events unfold, but that's precisely why our work here in Gwinnett County is so crucial. The change we all want to see isn't going to come from the top down; it has to be built from the ground up, with people like you. Here at the Gwinnett Young Democrats, we're actively working to build a more resilient and effective movement through grassroots organizing—from canvassing and protest organizing to having honest, difficult conversations about what our party needs to do to improve. Your voice and energy are exactly what our chapter needs to get back on track, and by getting involved, you can directly shape our message and actions.
